The covers of your workshop project are clad in decorated aluminum. The structure of what we call the “cover carrier” will allow you to use any number of cover materials on your future albums, e.g., paper, book cloth, leather, wood, other metals.

As in all wire edge structures, there are places along the binding edge where the wire is exposed. At these points thread is knotted to the wire, holding covers and page panels together.

The wire edge binding allows each page spread to open flat for presentation of printed text or matted images.

The layered thickness of the core board allows space for prints to be inset into the page panel. The recessed images are framed by cutouts in the paper that wraps around the core of the page panel. No adhesive touches the prints.

The ultimate album is a neat package—strong, durable, functional, attractive, and archival.
